HOW IT STARTED

When I picked up the camera for the first time it was because a friend needed my help. I was serving in church trying to find my place when my purpose found me. I was asked to take pictures as a favor, I instantly feel in love with the process and quickly dove into this new passion head first. Photography was now my purpose in the church and I knew that but now how do I grow this passion?

MY FAMILY

While serving at church I met my husband Colton Henderson. We both were in love and in love with serving at the local church. We then took the plunge and decided to start serving full time at  SOCO CHURCH in Bentonville, Arkansas. We packed up moved away from our family and started a new adventure with one another. Two years in and we had our first child Miles Taylor. Our lives have changed for the better since Miles and now I am ready to pursue my passion of photography.

WHAT QUALIFIES ME?

I have been the Creative Director at Soco Church now for four (+) years. I have learned the ins and outs of everything creative since taking on this new role. Graphic design, social media coordinating, web design, videography, photography, and leading people. Taking on new roles at my job have taught me two key values : 'Change and comfort can't happen at the same time' and  'Growth can't happen without change'. I love pushing myself and growing in my skills even when it's uncomfortable at times.
